4-27-21 THOUGHTS

Ps 5:3   In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order [my] [prayer] to You and [eagerly] watch.

Morning is a kind of new beginning.  To a small degree, we get to start again.  I love early mornings.  This time with all of you and my God, thinking, reading...  it is pretty special.  Morning won’t change everything.  The problems I had yesterday, I will probably still have today.  But the way I chose to look at those problems is an area for potential.  I can almost become a different person with a change in attitude and perspective.

As the Church, we have been injured by an ABSENCE OF FELLOWSHIP.  Each of us in our own turn have shared the pain of isolation and the loss of being together.  We have each longed for what we call NORMAL, “the way it was.”   We now have a NEW MORNING!  We can BE TOGETHER!  WILL WE?  The SWEET FELLOWSHIP OF GOD’S LOVE is to be coveted by and accessed by God’s people.  We are to “PROVOKE ONE ANOTHER TO LOVE AND GOOD WORKS [Heb 10:25].

I read somewhere that the way to “unmake an existing HABIT’ is to establish “A NEW HABIT”!
We’ve become comfortable worshiping in our own homes with Matzos bread and grape juice. We have a better option now.    From a song, “How Sweet How Heavenly Is The Sight, When Those That Love The Lord...  In One Another’s Peace Delight, And so Fulfill The Word!”

Ps 92:13   Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.
Acts 9:31   So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.
Eph 1:18-23   I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19  and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20  which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21  far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22  And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

My Prayer:
Bind us together Lord in sweet fellowship with each other and You.  Renew our hearts for worship and service in the Kingdom.  From our time of isolation, help our hearts to explode with action as we teach Jesus.  Kindle a fire within each of us and within all of us.  Join our hearts and our hands together that we may go into all the world.  Embolden us O Lord.
In Jesus name         Amen
